Andrew Bews

The elder statesman of Team Unite Ambassadors – Andrew ‘Bewsy’ Bews is the perfect example of what it means to be a Unite Ambassador. A Geelong legend, “The Rat” captained his club in the early 90’s and now Bewsy dedicates his time to helping others lead fit and healthy lifestyles through ‘In-Sync Fit’ and ‘BUDDY UP’ fitness module.

Mark Blicavs

An advocate for the work The Unite Project is carrying out, Geelong star Mark ‘Blitz’ Blicavs, is an imposing figure on and off the field. As the 2015 Cats Best & Fairest, Mark has transferred his love for the game towards helping The Unite Project bring an end to youth homelessness nationwide.

A star on the rise, Jed Bews is a tough and uncompromising player for the Geelong Cats. The son of Geelong legend Andrew Bews, Jed attributes his success to a supportive and loving family environment and has jumped on board as a Unite Ambassador so he can help those who don’t have the same support structures as he did growing up.

“The Block” is one of the Australia’s most loved reality TV shows and 2017 saw the emergence of two of Australia's favourite Blockheads – Andy & Ben.

When it was tools down for the final time, the school teachers were quick to jump on board as ambassadors for The Unite Project and use their passion for helping children for a cause close to their hearts.

Sara Blicavs

Australian Opals champ and sister to Mark, Sara is proud to be a Unite Ambassador. 2017 saw Sara and her team the WNBL Dandenong Rangers host the first annual Rangers Unite Night, designed to highlight Sara’s support in bringing an end to youth homelessness.

Lincoln McCarthy, a gifted forward for the Geelong Cats, is testament to how the support of a loving family and friends can overcome some tough challenges. Linc was riddled with injuries in the first few years of his career and managed to overcome these setbacks to become one of the Cats most-valued players.

Brit, the face of the Melbourne Formula 1 Grand Prix is quickly becoming one of the busiest women in town and has joined the team as the latest ambassador for The Unite Project. It is Brit’s passion for working as a teacher for underprivileged children in the Geelong area that led her to joining The Unite Project.
